How to Make Cinnamon Almonds

Cinnamon almonds are extremely hard to stop munching on. They're often pricey to buy but making them at home will reduce the costs and isn't hard to do.



Edit Ingredients



  • 2 tablespoons caster/superfine sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

  • Egg white (don't beat)

  • Almonds, with skins on (as many as desired)



Edit Steps



  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF. Prepare the baking tray/sheet by laying parchment paper over it.





  2. Wash the almonds and drain them.





  3. Place the sugar and cinnamon inside a paper bag.





  4. Coat the washed almonds with egg white. Use a basting or pastry brush.





  5. Add the egg-white coated almonds to the paper bag and given them a good shake.





  6. Arrange the coated almonds in a single layer on the baking tray/sheet.





  7. Place into the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.





  8. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container for storage.

  • Cinnamon almonds are an excellent gift idea. Simply place into a cellophane bag and add a pretty ribbon at the top. Include a small label explaining the ingredients.

  • Plate or other surface to place almonds while basting them
