Soak and Rub

  1. Fill the sink or basin with warm water.

  2. Let the shoelaces soak for 30 seconds.

  3. Take the shoelaces out of the sink or basin.

  4. Rub the shoelaces in soap.

  5. Let soak again for 30 seconds.

Apply Baking Soda

  1. Get several tablespoons of baking soda. Take the shoelaces out again and rub them thoroughly in baking soda. Put any extra soda into the sink, along with the laces. Let soak for a few minutes.

  2. Take the shoelaces out. Dry them by grabbing one end of the shoe laces and pressing down on it, draining all the water absorbed.

  3. Once dry, put the shoelaces back in your shoes. Enjoy your squeaky clean laces!
