Impress your guests with beautifully folded napkins placed at your dinner table. Ordinary napkins are transformed into mini works-of-art with this simple but fabulous Bishops Mitre folding technique. Surprise your friends with your creative mind at your next dinner party!
Edit Steps
- Open the napkin and place it down in front of you.
- Fold the top, right corner down to the middle.
- Fold the bottom, left corner up to the middle.
- Holding the top right triangle in the middle:
- Lift the napkin up. The other triangle will open up.
- Flip the napkin over and place it back down.
- Still holding the napkin, fold it to the bottom of the top triangle.
- Bring the triangle from underneath, out.
- Flip the napkin over.
- Fold the triangle on the right in half, right to left.
- Lift the bottom triangle up, covering half of the folded triangle.
- Flip the napkin over and fold the triangle on the right in half, right to left.
- Fold the end of the triangle in a little bit.
- Tuck the bit you have just folded behind the other triangle.
- Gently put your fingers in the underside of the Bishops Mitre and open it up.
- Place the Bishops Mitre on your table for a marvellous display.

- Crease every fold for the best finishing results.
- Be gentle when opening up the Bishops Mitre; if you are too forceful, the folds will undo.
