How to Do Pinterest Nails

1/13/2014

Pinterest is a great site to compile ideas on anything from art to beauty. And it's a great place to accumulate nail art ideas, manicure trends, and nail polish color swatches. So what better way to show your appreciation for the site than to create Pinterest-inspired nail art?

Edit Steps

  1. Paint all of your nails clear. Allow time to dry before proceeding to the next step.

  2. Paint each finger a vibrant red color. Allow time to dry before proceeding to the next step.

  3. Paint the Pinterest logo on each finger with white nail polish. Using white polish and a thin make-up brush (or a nail art brush), create the cursive "P" logo on each finger. This might be easier to do with a photo in front of you or with a "guide" lightly drawn on the nail with pen. Allow time to dry before proceeding to the next step.

  4. Add a top coat. This is going to prevent chipping and extend the life of your nails. Allow time to dry before using your hands, as this might cause the nail polish to smudge.

  5. Done. Show off your new nails by uploading a picture to Pinterest and citing wikiHow to do Pinterest nails!
