How to Make Black Forest Hot Chocolate

Black Forest Hot Chocolate, usually referred to as a "warmer", is a cocktail made with hot chocolate. Enjoy one when it's cold and snowy outside.



Edit Ingredients



  • 3/4 oz (22.5 mL) Chambord (see Tips)

  • 3/4 oz (22.5 mL) white creme de cacao

  • Hot chocolate, prepared using milk

  • Whipped cream

  • Cocoa powder (for garnish)

  • Maraschino cherry (for garnish)



Edit Steps



  1. Make the hot chocolate. Heat the milk in a saucepan and add 1-2 tablespoons of hot chocolate powder.





  2. Pour the Chambord and creme de cacao into a mug (glass or ceramic).





  3. Fill with the prepared hot chocolate.





  4. Top with whipped cream.





  5. Sprinkle cocoa powder on the whipped cream. Place a maraschino cherry on top.





  6. Finished.







Edit Tips



  • Use a dollop (or a few dollops) of fresh whipped cream instead of instant whipped cream.

  • Chambord is black raspberry liqueur.[1]
