No, a painkiller cocktail isn't a cocktail which relieves pain. It's just a delicious, tropical cocktail used to stimulate one's appetite. This article will teach you how to make one.

  • 2 oz. (60 mL) dark rum or gin

  • 1 oz. (30 mL) cream of coconut

  • 4 oz. (120 mL) pineapple juice

  • 1 oz. (30 mL) orange juice

  • 3 ice cubes

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  1. Pour the rum, orange juice, pineapple and coconut cream into the shaker.





  2. Cover and shake the ingredients vigorously (about 10 times).





  3. Strain the cocktail into a hurricane glass.





  4. Add three ice cubes into the hurricane glass.





  5. Sprinkle the cocktail with a little nutmeg.





  6. Garnish the cocktail with a slice of lime or a paper cocktail umbrella.





    • Note: the original recipe has no garnish.



  7. Serve and enjoy.
