Edit Things You'll Need
- Fruit by the Foot or Fruit Roll-Ups (preferably green)
- Mini powdered donuts
- Swedish fish
- Pull and Peel licorice
- Marshmallows
- Jelly beans
- Strawberry, caramel, or chocolate syrup.
- Knife
Edit Tips
- Use some strawberry, caramel, or chocolate syrup like soy sauce.
- For some real fun, serve with chopsticks and eat it the traditional way!
- Make Rice Krispies Treats and use in place of the marshmallow or mini-donut.
- Incorporate real icebreaker mints to offer a sour flavoring component to these cute desserts.
- For an icebreaker, you can try setting this up on a platter containing real sushi to see if people can spot the difference.
- For a less sugary and more realistic effect, use sliced fruit as the "fish" and inside the rolls, and/or use Thai Sticky Rice (Below) in place of the marshmallow or mini-donut.
- You can also use stuck-together licorice in place of the fruit roll up.
