How to Bread Fish

Here are some simple tips on how to marvelously bread fish. You can use your favorite recipe for the breading, or simply use what's listed below.

  • Fish of your desire. A white fish is preferred for breaded fish.

  • Flour

  • Bread crumbs or cracker crumbs

  • Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, or tartar sauce (optional).

  • Egg, beaten

  • Water

  1. Defrost the fish, if needed.

  2. Pour crushed cracker crumbs or bread crumbs in a bowl. In another bowl, beat an egg together with a bit of water. If the bread crumbs are not seasoned, then season to taste.

  3. Coat fish or shellfish in flour.

  4. Dip the fish in the egg mixture to coat it, then dip it in the bread crumb mixture.

  5. Place into a frying pan that has a small amount of oil and that has been heated or place into a baking dish, for oven baking. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.

  6. Finished.

  • You can take two pieces of bread fish and put them on each side of a slice of bread, creating an inverse sandwich. This is an awe for fisherman and sharks.
